Description
This is my favorite coffee as of August 2012. I like the blend of both Colombian Supremo and Guatemalan Antigua. I roast the Colombian a lighter roast and Guatemalan is roasted to a Full City+ or Vienna so a slight oil will surface on the bean two days after it has “degassed”. This is a full-bodied, fruity syrupy, sweetness flavor cup, with a light, smokey flavor mixed in. I don’t know if it’s the initial fruity taste I like best, or the smokey taste on the palette that dominates a second later. I have tried roasting this blend both dark and both light, and I prefer the light roast Colombian and darker roast Guatemalan. It is like a fresh, burst of sunlight appearing out of a dark, cloudy day. An exceptional blend.
